In 1995 Jamie graduated from The New York Institute of Massage, which provided a strong skillset in the science and technique of therapeutic massage. As an avid student, she continued her post-graduate studies in the areas of medical massage, pre, and post-surgical rehabilitation, pain management, sports therapy, Craniosacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute, and Lymph Drainage Therapy through the Chikly Institute.
These skills allowed her to provide quality care to players from the Buffalo Bills football team, competitive cyclists, marathon and ultra-distance runners, and Ironman competitors.
Clients also seek therapeutic massage & bodywork in conjunction with or after their course of surgery, physical therapy, chiropractic care, and acupuncture, along with individuals seeking support in managing pain, stress and in maintaining their best state of comfort & wellness.
Based on her clients’ changing needs Jamie has developed treatment skills in the areas of stress and chronic pain management, autoimmune conditions, recovery from injury, and in maintaining optimal function to thrive under the demands of daily life.
Jamie genuinely loves the field of massage & bodywork and personal development, continues to develop her skills and learn new approaches to manual therapy and wellness.
Jamie has lived in Dunedin, FL since leaving the long winters of Buffalo NY in 2002, although she does visit the snow once a year. By nature, Jamie is a great listener & enjoys being a problem-solver. She is happy to welcome you and help in any way she can.
